EMPOWER Centers is pleased to announce it has partnered with the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the University of Colorado School of Medicine in developing a virtual version of the “Wine, Smear and Learn” training series for pediatricians and other primary care providers. The series includes one hour professionally recorded and edited videos and power point slides made available to the user for six months from date of purchase. A new seminar is added to the collection bimonthly and topics focus on the most common and challenging behavioral health concerns presenting to primary care settings. The trainings were developed collaboratively by regional pediatric and child psychiatry academic leaders so carefully crafted to impart evidence based, practical, clinically relevant tricks and tools that represent best practice and can be readily deployed by even the busiest pediatricians. A combination of didactic style lecture, power point slides, case presentation and question and answer segments are used in the seminars. For additional details, a list of topics or to inquire about registering for the live version of these seminars, click here or call EMPOWER Centers at 720-778-4077.
